Last fall, mikeroweWORKS Director of Operations, Tina White, joined about 100 Caterpillar® employees & families for a day to help Chad Pregracke and his team at a river clean-up on the Illinois River.
Chad is the founder of Living Lands and Waters, a non-profit organization, whose main goal is dedicated to protecting and preserving our nation’s rivers.
After being nominated in Mitchum’s national “Hardest Working ___________ in America” campaign contest by Mike in 2010, Chad was voted the “Hardest Working Do-Gooder in America”. He received over 50,000 votes and was awarded $100,000 along with a gold stick of Mitchum!
It’s clear from the video that not only did everyone work hard to make a difference on the river that day, but had a lot of fun and laughs as well.
